How I take over your site
Before touching anything, I get the lay of the land.
What I check first
- the versions of WordPress or PrestaShop, of PHP and of every plugin;
- anything changed “by hand”: edited core files, a theme modified without a child theme;
- backups: do they exist, and can they actually be restored?
- security: admin accounts, forgotten logins, known vulnerabilities;
- the site’s speed and its hosting;
- access: hosting, database, domain name.
You then receive a clear, jargon-free review: what’s fine, what’s urgent, and what can wait. You decide with all the facts in hand.
And I never work directly on the live site: I make changes on a copy, check that everything works, and only then go live.

Updates under control
Every update is tested on a copy before it’s applied. If something’s off, your live site never knows.
Backups that actually work
Regular backups, and above all tested ones: the day you need to roll back, it works.
Doors firmly shut
Logins cleaned up, vulnerabilities fixed, plugins up to date: we shut the doors before anyone pushes them open.
Has your site been hacked?
Don’t panic. I clean up the site, track down how the attacker got in to shut that door, change every login and apply the missing updates. Then I explain in plain words what happened, and what was done so it doesn’t happen again.

Can you take over a site without the previous developer’s logins?
Most of the time, yes. If you control your hosting or your domain name, we can almost always recover the rest. I’ll guide you step by step.
My site has been hacked. Can you help?
Yes. I clean up the site, track down how the attacker got in and shut that door, then change the logins and apply the missing updates.
What happens if my site is no longer updated?
Little by little, it slows down, slips in Google, and sometimes ends up hacked. Updates and security are there precisely to prevent that.
Do I stay in control of my site?
Yes. Your site, your hosting and your domain name stay yours, and you keep all your logins.
How much does maintenance cost?
It depends on the size of the site and what you need: simple updates, or regular improvements. After the review, I offer you a clear plan with no surprises.
Do you work with clients far from the French Riviera?
Yes, distance changes nothing. I’m based between Monaco and Cannes and also cover Nice, Antibes and Sophia Antipolis, but everything can be done by video call or email: I send you a link to follow progress, wherever you are.
